Weekend Guidelines

  • Be with your students, you are responsible for them.

  • Be on time for all scheduled activities.

  • Help out where you can. (Keeping students quiet during sessions & announcements, clean up, supervising, be a jump-in person)

  • DBD - Don’t be dumb.

  • When in dorms for the night, keep your students in their rooms. No wandering around camp for any reason. You are responsible for your kids, not the other adults.

  • When the weekend is over, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ROOM IS EXACTLY THE WAY YOU FOUND IT.

  • Sit with your students during general sessions.

  • Be with your students. Have fun with them!

  • Let God work in your life. Don’t you know He’s trying?

**Be flexible. We will do our best to start all scheduled activities on time, but stuff happens! Thank you.

Reminders

** Don’t forget to check out the seminars Saturday morning & afternoon.

** Take good care of this place. Please don’t litter and look to help with cleanup.

** Please be on time for all scheduled events.

** Please leave your room exactly as you found it.

** Winterfest gear is available in the dining room. Get some!

Friends,

Enjoy your time with your students this weekend. Thank you for taking time away from your families to be here. It is our hope that you & your students will come away from this retreat better able to push away obstacles, discover new tools, and get fired up about what Jesus can do in your life. Please let us know if we can be of any help.

SEMINARS

Being a Christian and an Athlete

Are you a follower of Christ or curious to learn more about his impact on the many facets of our life? Have you ever been a part of a sports team? Then this is the seminar for you! Topics like humility, leadership, and perseverance will be covered as well as God's impact on and off the court, field, or track. Come see God's hand at work in your after-school athletic life!

Lars Tenglin, Attleboro, MA
Location: Fish Creek Lobby

Hold Fast

Scripture tells us repeatedly to "hold fast" to God and His promises. What does that look like today? We'll take a look at how we can better trust in God's provision and how we can push ourselves further in our faith.

David Wall, Bedford, NH
Location: Brookview Lobby

Leading Worship

Come and spend some time with our Winterfest band. Band members will discuss leading from each instrument in the band as they share and demonstrate how to work as a cohesive group. Bring your questions for this fun & engaging time.

Chasing The Light, Augusta, ME
Location: Spring Glen

Hangin’ with Pastor Mike

Need a little more time with Pastor Mike? Come to this seminar for an interactive time of discussion, questions & answers.

Michael Carrion, Bronx, NY

Prayer Room

This is a space for you. Come to pray, have some quiet time, write if you like, breathe and relax.

Debbie Packnick, Easton, CT

Choices

We make hundreds of choices every single day. Some are easy, and some feel so big we’re not even sure where to start. Come chat about how our faith can very practically guide our decision-making process.

Alli Corriveau, Newton, MA
Location: Ferndale Lobby

Can you relate?

As Christians, not only are we called to have a relationship with God, but we are also called to engage in Godly relationship with others. But it is not always that easy. Whether it’s your relationship with your parents, siblings, friends or significant other, come explore ways to love even when you don’t feel like it.

Lydia Adegbola, NY
Location: Mountain Laurel Lobby
