SAFETY POLICIES

Emergencies
If you hear a continuous bell, it is the signal of an emergency. 
Proceed immediately to the Picnic Grove across from the Lodge and wait for further instructions.
911 Please call 911 from your cell phone. Staff is available 24/7 either onsite or through the Ring button by the Mayflower Lodge front door.

Roads
The road around the lake and through Pilgrim Pines is a public road. Please stay on the edge of the road when walking. Please cross at crosswalk locations only. Use the Plymouth sidewalk between the Strand Chapel and the Lodge.  

Speed Limit
Please limit speed through Camp Squanto & Mayflower on West Shore Road to 15 mph. Speed limit in Camping Area is 5 mph. 

Parking
Please park only in authorized parking areas.

Bikes
NH State Law requires bike helmets under the age of 16.

Fires
Campfires are prohibited near Mayflower cabins. Please enjoy the Firepit in the Grove if you’d like to have a campfire. 

Grills
Guests are responsible for the cleanup and removal of any grill equipment (charcoal, propane tanks, accessories, etc.). Grills can only be used outside and at a safe distance from cabins. (Grilling on a deck is okay.)

Power Boats
Power boats may NOT be moored or docked at the Pilgrim Pines beach at anytime during the day or overnight. This is for the safety of our swimmers and boaters. 

Fishing
A New Hampshire Fishing License is required for anyone over the age of 16. Fishing is not permitted from the beach or docks. You may fish from a boat away from the swimming and boating area.
