Join our team for an unforgettable summer

Work side-by-side with college age individuals and our full-time staff as a member of Pilgrim Pines dynamic summer ministry team. We are looking for team members who love God, and who are willing to work hard in service to others. Working at Pilgrim Pines is not just a summer job – it is a summer ministry!

Pilgrim Pines is big enough for awesome programs, and small enough to provide a personal touch for campers and the staff. A summer at Pilgrim Pines will include great worship and opportunities to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ. You can also count on making great friendships that will last a lifetime, and lots of laughter.

You will never have worked so hard and had so much fun doing it. Come join us for an incredible summer where every moment counts for eternity!
New/returning staff – If using a former staff member as a reference, that person must be at least three years removed from being on staff.

Distinguished Behavior

At Pilgrim Pines, we have certain standards and expectations for our team. Above all else, we desire to glorify God in everything we do. We anticipate all our staff will adhere to the highest moral and ethical standards. We expect the staff to be examples by their solid behavior and to conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner at all times. We look for staff who are committed to regular Christian fellowship, Bible Study, service, and the pursuit of vital relationships with other Christians. Our staff needs to be in good health and prepared for a physically and emotionally challenging summer. Pilgrim Pines full time staff are committed to seeing you grow in your walk with Christ. Throughout the summer we will pray, encourage, inspire, train, support and challenge you as you continue to grow in your spiritual life.

Hiring Process

We hope to have all staff positions (program staff, food service, tech, counselors, lifeguards, maintenance)  filled by April 15. We will continue to accept applications until all positions are filled. Early applicants with completed files (application & three references returned to PP) will receive priority consideration. When you do choose to apply we encourage you follow up after sending in your competed application. We receive many applications and don’t always have positions for all who apply.  An in-person interview or phone interview will be conducted with potential summer staff members if a decision is made to move forward with your application. Please follow up on any sent application. If forward movement, notification of hire will be given by phone/email. A contract will be sent upon the decision to hire and the decision to accept. All potential summer staff must complete the application process. This applies to former Summer Staffers as well.
